Together with NVDB API Les, the endpoints in API SKRIV constitute a complete service portfolio for developers of professional systems that need integration with NVDB. The APIs and NVDB are owned and managed by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.
Registration and maintenance of NVDB data is described in a change set that is processed asynchronously via the change set endpoints. A change set can manipulate both road objects and road networks, but the latter is reserved for specific road network clients. In addition, there are support endpoints for:
- Retrieval of locks, assignments and transactions from NVDB
- Conversion from other data formats to change sets
- Access to assigned data rights (authorization)
